[2005 GMC Sierra 1500 with a 4.8L V8 engine. Truck runs great. Sounds real good. Easily passes smog. Well maintained. There are some dings & scratches. This has been 1 of the best trucks I have ever owned, hands down. Mechanic Note: The main reason I got this truck was because it was going to be my daily, the car wizard on YouTube highly recommended this generation/year of truck, the engine sounded great, so I fixed it up. It was during the time of the pandemic so I ended up changing parts when I didn't have to just so I could be preventative and not have to deal with it later. Like, for example, the radiator was fine but I put a new one in, same goes for the battery, the steering fluid pump, the transmission, the rack & pinion, the front suspension, the rear shocks, the starter, the alternator, the front wheel bearings, the back wheel bearings, the brake lines in the front, the front brake calipers, brake pads on the front & the back and probably other etc etc etc. Why did I do that, especially when other people warned me, I don't know, it just got away from me, I guess that's why they warned me, :)
