Description
[1989 Honda Accord DX Hatchback (3rd Gen). Clean title in hand. I'm the second owner. THE GOOD: Mileage: 161,xxx (Low for this engine). Features: Pop-up headlights work perfectly. Rear hatch opens and stays open. Maintenance: Engine was regularly serviced and ran great until recent starting issues in October. New front brake caliper installed in August (with receipt). Recent Service: All fluids were recently changed at Jiffy Lube (with receipt). THE PROJECT (Non-Running): The car currently does not start. In October, the gas pedal stopped responding while driving. We installed a brand-new fuel pump but that didn't fix it. We strongly suspect a faulty Main Relay (very common on these models) or a loose wiring connection in the ignition/fuel circuit. There is also a small oil leak typical for its age, and both front axle boots are leaky and need to be replaced eventually, though still driveable. TITLE REGISTRATION: Clean Title in hand. Affidavit of Non-Use filed with the DMV (No back-fees). Registration valid through June. TERMS: The car is sold AS-IS and will need to be towed.
