[2003 Caterham 7 SV - Legally registered in California under SB100. Real - not an imitation. The ultimate lightweight sports car, with legendary handling, ready for Summer! Rare “SV” increased dimension chassis for taller drivers - Weighs roughly 560 kg (1235 lbs). Caterham OEM 15” 5 spoke aluminum wheels, running NEW Yokohama Advan tires. FORD Duratec 2.3 liter engine, running Weber 40 DCOE carburetors (I believe it has a lightened flywheel but I can’t verify this via the documentation). Royal Purple 5W30. FORD Type 9 x5 speed transmission. Mechanical inspection performed on 05/17/2025 at 21,647mls (Documented): Compression Test: 1-215, 2-210, 3-210, 4-200 - Excellent. Leak Down Test: All cylinders 96-98% holding - Excellent. During the past year, extensive maintenance issues have been addressed including new windshield (with a new spare), compression & leak down tests (EXCELLENT), carburetor tuning, new transmission, pinion and driveshaft seals, steering gaiters, etc. Comes with NEW spare front fenders, NEW rear fender stainless shields, NEW soft top, as well as some other additional parts. Comes with inertia reel seatbelts. (The x4 point harnesses are not included, but are not expensive to replace.) This is one of the earlier Caterhams running a Duratec which has become the engine of choice for these cars. Built by Autocourse in Southern California, it’s currently showing 22,262 miles. This car is a clean, honest example, with Service History, it’s never been in an accident, and it drives, steers and stops as it should.
