Disclaimer: I am firm on price. I have set the price lower than I would expect to get for a van in this shape, pricing in some body work that I think needs to be done to make this a PERFECT van. Maybe I would install an AC too. But cruising with the side vents blasting air is nicer. Over the past 8 years, this van has been completely redone and is in beautiful shape for its age. I have receipts showing over $50k in repairs and upgrades. It started with a factory built Subaru EJ22 motor installed by EuroPro in Costa Mesa. We did a complete reupholstery matching original colors, installed solar, a truck fridge, propex heater, dynamat and cotton insulation throughout. Cleaned the heck out of the van and installed new door handles, mirrors, led head lights, pod lights, storage, kill switch, I know I will not recoup the amount of money that I’ve put into this van but I mostly care that it goes to someone who will appreciate and utilize it in a way that I no longer can. My family is growing and I am letting my van go. I would not hesitate to drive this van to New York and back tomorrow. My biggest dream when building this van was to travel across the country with it and I did that. Los Angeles to New Hampshire and back without a single hiccup. This was in 2020 and since then the van has gotten little use. I drive it every week to keep it moving with the occasional camp out but the van should really see more outdoors. The van can cruise at 80 mph on the freeway, no problem. The bad: its got some minor cosmetic stuff on the exterior. If I were to keep the van I would do a body job to get it in perfect shape. The body has 215,000 miles on it but is in good shape despite 2 very small rust spots starting to form and some scratches on the paint job. Most pipes and everything else have been replaced underneath, battery, starter, power steering..
