[1996 Honda Civic DX for sale. Car starts, runs, and drives, but engine has a bottom-end knock (rod knock). Selling as-is due to engine condition. Before the diagnosis, I completed multiple repairs , which are shown clearly in the photos. Recent work includes: • New catalytic converter (l passed smog last year) • Registration paid until march • New engine mounts • New belts • Suspension components replaced (see photos) Details: • Salvage title • ~200k miles • Smogged and currently registered • Runs and moves under its own power • Best suited for an engine swap or project • was going to mess with interior restoration but I can’t afford to swap the engine Good candidate for someone who already has a D16 engine or wants a solid Civic shell with documented recent work.
