[The Toyota Altezza 280T is a very rare, high-performance limited-edition version of the Toyota Altezza (the Japanese domestic market sedan that was the basis for the first-generation Lexus IS). It wasn’t a standard factory trim — it was developed and tuned by Tom’s (TOM’S), a respected Toyota performance tuner, and sold in very limited numbers (only 100 units originally). Engine: Turbocharged 2.0 L 3S-GE inline-4 with an IHI turbocharger and intercooler installed by Tom’s Estimated Output: Around 280 PS (≈276–280 hp) and ~30 kg·m (~217 lb-ft) torque — a significant bump over the standard RS200’s ~200 hp.
