1977 Jeep Wagoneer

[this was my great-grandpa's car and a lot of us great-grandkids were toted around in this thing. it sat for over a decade before i got it at 15, then sat for another 10+ years as i personally couldn't do anything with it and i kept it out of nostalgia. it's a great project car for the right person. it does still run and drive; i cleaned the front seats at one point and vacuumed it but that's about as far as i got. the good: runs and drives, has a great roar on start up newer battery newer gas line newer carburetor has the bigger engine for its year no broken glass AMC original hub caps the bad: pretty much everything needs to be replaced, inside and out. odometer says 60k+ but has rolled over so it's actually closer to 160k+. the back window was rolled down recently and doesn't want to go back up. the brake lights stay on when battery is connected. the transmission has a heavy leak when running. there have been rabbits and probably mice and squirrels that have lived in it. brakes are shot as well as tires and ball joints, shocks etc. some rust. quadra-trac is stuck in gear. running off of auxiliary tank. the original tank has a hole in it. asking $8000. fully restored, these Jeeps are worth upwards of $20k. call Pat for more information and to set up a time to check it out. will need a trailer or tow; i'm not confident in how the tires or brakes would hold up and i'm not sure how fast it will go, not to mention the transmission leaks while it's running. i've only driven it through the neighborhood but it still has a lot of power and starts up easily with the right amount of fluids.
