[1996 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition 4x4 CLEAN 4.0 Liter v6 3k OBO 169k Miles I’ve had this truck since May last year and it’s been great, runs shifts strong. Work I’ve done -Spark plug wires -HVAC door blender actuator -Hood struts -Rear window struts -Transmission fluid flush (400$ at Valvoline, no metal) -Transfer Case fluid flushed and changed -Oil change -Fuel injector treatment -Coolant flush Work done before me (all around 130k miles is what I was told) -New radiator -Front CV Axles and boots (these look brand new) -Transmission serviced -AC pump, recharged AC, Drive belts, serpentine belt -Front and rear differential fluid changed I bought rotors and brake pads but never got around to installing them, they’ll come with the truck. Not critical but it would be good to keep that on the radar. Also have a fresh set of spark plugs, when I did the wires the plugs looked great so I didn’t change them. 4x4 engages and works awesome in the snow. It’s a 30 year old SUV so it does have some paint chipping but the interior and exterior overall is very clean, super plush interior with the Eddie Bauer stuff. The sunroof needs some love, doesn’t leak when closed but can get stuck open. I think the tracks just need to be cleaned and lubricated, relay clicks fine. One of the passenger door handles needs to be reattached. ABS light on, don’t know why, doesn’t seem to affect anything. Tires are good for now. No serious leaks anywhere. I’ve really enjoyed owning it but I have 4 cars and drive this one the least. Would make a great first car, daily driver, snow vehicle, crawler project, really anything.
