[Hey there, Selling my 1986 524td, odometer currently has 110,XXX miles on it. It is a replacement Instrument cluster I put in (with rebuilt ODO gears). Previous odometer had around 140?-;ish miles. In my ownership I have put roughly 30-40K on it with lots of work done in the meantime. This is the 3rd 524td I've owned and have collected many parts that I can/will include with the sale. Some of the work I've done include: Brand new cylinder head with top end components gaskets lines, oil separator, oil cooler lines, Time-sert oil filter housing, (had a problem with sub 0 starts), Rear trailing arm ball joints, Bilstein's B6? all 4 corners, Differential Mount, Poly rear subframe mounts, Fuel level sender, Turbocharger Boost hoses, rear tone rings and 1 new Wheel speed sensor to make ABS function. new glow plugs, Crankshaft position sensor (both) New Service Indicator board, Re-sealed injection pump, new vacuum block/diagphram. New heater core, New a/c expansion valve & Retrofited A/C for r-134A (blows frosty) New engine mounts, Control arm bushings, Tie rods, Center link, Idler arm +Bushing, New cooling system hoses and expansion tank, Temperature sender, Coolant level sender, Oil feed and drain hoses to/from turbo, New LED behind OBC, Rebuilt alternator with extra rectifier bridge/brushes included. 10" low profile subwoofer under passenger seat. Custom Brackets to fit Manual e30 sport seats tan with a ripped seam on driver bolster, Vinyl backseat fitted to match the fronts. Sport Steering Wheel Currently fitted newish e38 optional winter steel wheels brand new BMW, I have the 14" original wheels with undersize tires to include or can put them on and keep winter wheels -600$. Includes the Factory 3.15? LSD. In very healthy condition (made 113HP when new probably the same after tuning the fuel pump) 4HP-22 transmission is very healthy, crisp shifts, New center support bearing in the last 3 years and U-joints replaced under prior owner ~ 8 years ago. Tint is 45% front windows and 35%? rear 3 windows The lackluster details, Starter was replaced with o'reilly's and needs to be replaced (will do before sale). Starts but solonoid is sticky under like 20 degrees F. Tachometer I replaced with a european 4 cylinder Tach so it reads 1.5X RPM's, radio/head unit is older still works great. Manual seats need new air springs/gas pistons, the seats get a little hard to adjust. Rear trunk seal could use a re glue, Left rear trunk panel/carpeting not present. The antennae used to work but accidentally left it up in a car wash. I put the Light Bar on to compete with Laser headlights on back roads, silly amber cover to make it road legal. Currently wired with factory connectors and easily removed (no extra holes drilled, fits in factory fog light mounting holes) can remove or leave with sale. Bronzit paint was likely resprayed in the mid to late 90's and the clear they sprayed is starting to come apart. Have done many 1000+ Mile road trips in this and wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. Leaks a little bit of oil from an O ring under the injection pump (have in hand), was going to replace when I did the next timing Belt. Need room for a new one in the fleet, OBO serious offers only please.
