[Supercharged 2003 C5 Z06 for sale. The car has One Hundred and Fourteen Thousand miles on it. I bought it three years ago when it had eighty-eight thousand miles on it. The car has a Magnuson MP112 supercharger, and I think it might have a mild cam. It is carb legal and has the air resource board sticker on it. It has five hundred and fifty horsepower, but I have never had it put on dynamometer. It runs absolutely perfect and is a very strong running motor. The more you drive it, the hotter you get it, the better it runs. Since I have had the car, I have done the following work: New A/C compressor, new harmonic balancer, new blend door actuators, alternator, new battery, coolant reservoir tank, air cleaner assembly, new lowering kit, suspension parts front and back, Dewitt radiator, new key lock cylinder, new brakes, brake fluid, reworked fabricated door speakers, Viper alarm system, professional alignment by a former Corvette race car driver, steering wheel position sensor. This car is an absolute street ripper that would be a perfect car for drifting, a serious track weapon or whatever you want to do with it really. If you are looking for an entry level Corvette that is ready made and ready to go, this is your car. The C5 Z06, is a very visceral, raw and driver-oriented experience, if you like the loud aggressive exhaust popping and burbles, you will love this car. The car is extremely low, as low as you can get it and handles incredible, it drives absolutely straight and perfect. There is also an aftermarket short throw shifter in it, "MGW". The car has a Borla exhaust system and sounds great, not overly loud but very loud when jumping on the accelerator and pushing the car as it is intended to be driven. It also has the heads-up display that works really nice and allows for monitoring of the system on the windshield. Why am I selling it? For the single reason that I am going to buy a C6 Z06 and will use the money from the sale as part of the payment for the new Corvette. This car requires some discipline and self-control, as it can easily get you into trouble. It breaks loose quite easily during hot dry weather with racing tires. I do not recommend driving this car in the rain. The sound system is an Italian product called Hertz, it is custom fabricated with two amps, a digital sound processor and a subwoofer. It is extremely loud and hard hitting in such a small cabin. A high-end boutique stereo shop told me the system is a ten thousand dollar install. What this car needs? The driver side and passenger window molding, called the reveal trim, they are cracked and need replacing, the total cost for the weather stripping and parts is about five hundred. Any good body shop or repair person can easily install them in a couple hours. The purchase and showing of the car will be done at Schools Credit Union in Folsom. I can take you for a test drive if interested. I have heard every scam in the history of scams, so keep it moving, and I will block y. Keep in mind, this car gets a lot of attention, I mean a lot, from children, to adults, to other drivers, every time you take it out, you get a lot of attention and a lot of compliments. The miles continue to go up, as I drive it when the sun is out, it is a total blast and joy to drive every time. I just bought another Corvette, a C6 Z06 so the C5 has to go, just too much work having three cars. If you want a C5 Z06 that you can rip on and have fun every day all day, come and check this car out, you will love it. I think the C5 Z06 might be the most fun, raw, loose and essentially a factory-made race car for the street.
