[2012 Dodge Grand Caravan Accessible Van – Braun Companion van. (VIN - 2C4RDGCG0CR247946) In excellent condition with low miles (75,000), clean interior, air conditioning, 3 keys. Modified by BraunAbility wheelchair accessible van conversions with a side entry ramp and easy to use retractable tie downs. It has tinted windows, 16" wheels and works perfectly. It has been well maintained. This van originally belonged to an elderly Nevada resident and was professionally converted into a handicap-accessible vehicle by Braun, one of the leading manufacturers of mobility conversions. It was used primarily for transportation to medical appointments, driven by the woman’s caregiver. Several years ago, the caregiver drove the van to a hospital in Reno while accompanying the owner. After the owner sadly passed away while in care, the caregiver no longer had employment or responsibility for the vehicle. The van was left at the hospital, and because no authorized person returned to claim it, the vehicle was classified as abandoned under Nevada law. In Nevada, any abandoned vehicle that is towed and processed through the state’s abandoned-vehicle procedure is automatically issued a salvage title, even if it has not been in an accident or suffered damage. The van’s salvage branding therefore reflects administrative status, not collision, flood, or structural issues. The vehicle was subsequently purchased and has been in regular, reliable use by our family for the past 3.5 years, serving as transportation for our disabled child. During this time it has performed well and continues to function as intended.
