Description

[Making the extremely difficult decision to sell my NC1 Miata to make room for a bigger vehicle. I haven't had it for long - purchased last April - and wish I could have more time with it. Spent quite some time looking for the perfect NC for me - and this was it! This one is finished in Stormy Blue Mica (very dark blue that really pops in the sunlight - don't see this color much on the road!), the grand touring package (leather and heated seats, Bose sound system), the premium package (antitheft alarm, keyless entry, xenon HID headlights, DSC with traction control), the very desirable power-retractable hardtop, a 6-speed manual transmission, LSD, and Bilstein shocks. This thing handles like a dream (Skyline Blvd is a blast) and has all of the options one can have! I also have some fun parts from Carbon Miata that I never got around to installing. Price reflects those being included (about a grand in parts - but likely more now as I purchased these before tariffs). Quilted seat covers in saddle brown (always thought the saddle brown with the dark blue exterior would look great), dash protector, trunk lip spoiler, wind deflector, and fun keychain. Great to have if you want these but happy to handle separated from the car too. Also have a full kit for an aftermarket metal shift knob with the gears in Japanese Kanji. Odometer currently reads 57,412 miles. Was purchased at 56,000. This number will go up slowly as I still occasionally drive it on the weekends. I have barely put on 1,500 miles over the past year. Clean CA title, no accidents or damage reports. All maintenance is up to date - I have my service records I can share, along with the Carfax report from when I purchased it. The OEM coolant expansion tank has been replaced with an aluminum Moroso one (OEM is known to fail). I also swapped the stock antennae for a stubby one and there are WeatherTech mats on the floor and in the trunk. Exterior and interior are in great shape, especially given the age - only blemishes are extremely minor (a few small rock chips, very light surface wear on the leather - another reason why I wanted to get the seat covers was to protect the original leather). It currently needs nothing! If I have time, I will get it cleaned up and detailed. This Miata has been extremely well-taken care of. As far as I know, it has only been owned by enthusiasts. The previous owner was very reluctant to let it go but had a kiddo on the way. He also mentioned that the owner before him worked for Mazda. Test drives are welcome only with serious intent to purchase (and preferably some proof that you can drive a manual), but feel free to come take a look in person otherwise! Happy to show it. Asking $17,250 OBO with everything. No trades. Comparable listing on BaT that sold for $18,250: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2008-mazda-mx-5-miata-59/ Thank you for looking! Hoping that this goes to the right home.
