Description

[$7950 and I pay the registration and taxes, so it’s like you are saving $1000 more and getting it for $7000! This is not your average used Element. It is a 2003 EX FWD with 231k miles on the chassis, but the engine compression tests like a brand-new car (195–200 PSI across all cylinders). I am a serious car enthusiast (my other cars are Porsches and Ferraris), and I built this Element to be a bulletproof, turn-key daily driver for a family member. Plans changed, so you get the benefit of $10,000 invested, all work done in last 1000 miles. Clean Title in hand. Smogged. Registration paid. THE MECHANICALS (Where the value is): Most Elements at this age have wobbly suspension and tired engines. This one handles like it just rolled off the lot. • Engine Health: Don't let the odometer fool you. Compression tests show 195–200 PSI in all cylinders (factory new is 200 PSI). A typical "good" used engine is ~160 PSI. This motor is incredibly healthy like a 30k engine. • Top-Tier Maintenance: Engine flushed with BG Dynamics Restoration, running Amsoil 5w-20 High Mileage oil. VTEC screens and seals replaced. • Transmission: Fluid drop-and-fill with Valvoline MaxLife. Shifts smooth, fluid is bright red. • Suspension Overhaul: New shocks, springs, mounts, and sway bar links/bushings. Crucially, I installed adjustable rear camber arms to fix the common Element "squat" and tire wear issue. • Brakes: Upgraded to "GH” rated hybrid pads (ceramic/semi-metallic) designed for the heavier Honda Pilot. Better stopping power than stock. • Tires: New front tires, road-force balanced (the highest standard of balancing). THE SF ESSENTIALS: • Catalytic Converter Shield: Installed to prevent theft (essential in the Bay Area). • New Catalytic Converter: Replaced under warranty, so you won't have smog issues for years. • Interior: Infinity speaker upgrade + subwoofer inspection (sounds amazing). New custom flip-key remote. THE HISTORY: I bought this from a tech industry friend who treated it like gold, and I finished the job. I spent the last 1,000 miles dialing it in—fixing the little things like instrument cluster bulbs, seat rock (fixed the washers/brackets), and window regulators. I built this car to be reliable enough for a college student to drive for 4 years without a single headache. It’s not a project car; it’s a finished product. Why the price? You can find a “Decent” Element for $6/7k. But to get everything done that I did, you’d probably pay 5k. You’d spend 12k trying to get a used element to where this one. I spent 10k, I’m taking a loss as we we don’t need another extra car. 8k for you. I’ll pay the registration and fees. So if you do it, 12k it’s a lot of time and frustrations. Through me 8k out the door, all problems solved. 628 area code 224 1st 3 digits 12OO last 4 numbers TEXT AND . -Joe
