[The Good: Beautiful classic Jeep! Driving it feels like you are stepping back in time. Big AMC V8 w/ Flowmaster muffler has excellent exhaust note! This is not a museum car but is reliable and fun. Mostly original, new carpet, power windows including the rear work great! Paint (Copper Metallic/Bronze) has been touched up but shines up great. Super fun Sunday driver for the beach or camping. I have never taken it on off road trails. Mostly just to the beach and around town. Always kept in my garage and loved. AMC 360 5.9L V8 - passes smog no problem. Howell Throttle Body Injection (Jeeps R Us - 2025) New water pump and power steering (Jeeps R Us - 2025) I frequently change oil because its easy and good practice. Also fun. New 3.5" Lift - new leaf springs and shocks (4 wheel parts 2022) The Bad: The driver's seat upholstery needs some TLC or a full re-upholstery. The other seats are in decent shape and I've hesitated to redo them because the originals look cool. The Ugly: Quadrtrak 2wd/4wd selector was removed so it is full time 4wd. Drives safely on the freeway at 75 but I haven't pushed it much faster. The original AC and heater fans work but not cold. There is a swap kit but I havent bothered. Roll the windows down and enjoy the ride! TMU odometer shows 289,000 but it is loose who knows?!
