1992 Mazda Miata MX-5

[Up for sale is my 92’ Miata. The car holds a clean title in my name and has current smog for a few more months. Reg is due end of February. VIN: JM1NA3512N0317226 I bought this Miata back in February of 2021. It’s always been a second or third car that I kept up to date with maintenance but rarely drove. I’ve added approx 2500 miles under my ownership. I spared no expense getting the mechanicals sorted on this car with mostly new oem parts. All of the service done at Secret Factory in Sacramento. The car has typical wear from being 34 years old. It was resprayed years ago but there are some scratches and dings present on the body. The good - Original engine and transmission (long nose crank) - 4.1 open diff from and NB with matching mileage. FC RX7 diff cover. Delrin diff bushings - NB2 rear knuckles, axles and driveshaft - R12 AC works great with no issues, heat also works - Cooling and timing components are all new - New tires and alignment - New MAF, oil pressure sending unit, ignition switch, coolant sensors, radiator, water pump, front cam and crank seals, sumitomo (oem) connectors replaced as needed in the engine bay - Exedy clutch kit with flywheel, clutch slave and master cylinders, - SS clutch line from master cylinder to slave cylinder - Miata Roadster shifter rebuild with delrin shifter bushing - Vinyl glass top, slow leak form seals during heavy rain on passenger side - New inner and outer tie rods and lower ball joints replaced - New window sill belt line moldings from RSpeed, delrin window track bushing guides with some sound insulation in the doors (All of the above parts have roughly 2,000 miles on them) The bad - Defroster is not the best - Wipers work but the fastest speed is non op. I haven’t had any issues in heavy rain - RR brake caliper has a slight drag. Caliper and rotor were replaced and the noise didn’t go away. I haven’t had any drivability issues but it’s something to note - One of the wheel studs has some damage to the threads than can be chased and re-used. - Car could use a multistep paint correction - Intermittent airbag module light. not worth replacing I’m in no hurry to sell the car.
