1997 Dodge Conversion Van Mark III

[My wife and I have finally accepted that it’s time to sell our beloved van, nicknamed Bobby Ganoush for its original eggplant color. Gone are the days of road tripping and camping together as couple. A minivan has taken its place in our growing family. This 1997 Dodge Conversion Van has served us well since 2014. I believe we are the second owners. Overall the van is in pretty good shape. The carpeting doesn’t have any major stains and the liner on the walls and ceiling also look pretty good. It has privacy/sun shades on the 3 big windows along the sides of the van. Overall it’s mechanically sound and runs reliably. It has always passed smog. But it’s an older van so it has it’s quirks that I’ve learned to live with. Of course they could be fixed. These include, 1 rear speaker doesn’t work, the driver side window mechanism somehow comes detached from the window if you try to lower it and the window falls down into the door, the power locks don’t activate for the rear and side double doors. There’s a substantial ding on the driver side door that happened when some people we were selling an old fridge to tipped the fridge over into our van… battle scars. It’s really been a great vehicle and I’m sure it has many years of life left. It’s still pretty low miles (126296 mi). We had a simple would platform with a mattress in the back for a many years. The platform is gone, but if you’d like me to include the mattress, which is clean, I’ll gladly toss it in for free.
