[For Sale: GMC Sierra Classis 2500 4WD Crew Cab Pickup with 94,000 miles. We are the original owners, this has been a Santa Rosa truck from day one. Color: Pewter Metallic Solid (per GM’s description) Engine: 454 cu inch (7.4L) Vortec – last year of the big block! Powertrain: 4WD with low range and locking rear differential, 3.73 ratio 4 speed automatic. Crew cab with lots of room for 6 people. Short bed (at least for the time, 6 1/2 feet) with carpet kit and shell. This has been mostly a city truck for us, hauling a tent trailer around the west when kids were young. It will tow notably more, about 10,000 pounds worth. GVW rating of the truck itself is 8,600 lbs, gross combined weight rating is 15,000 lbs per my brochure.. The truck has been well maintained; I have 25 years worth of service records for it. Most recent service this month included oil; brake, power steering and coolant flush, and a new fuel pump and sender to correct an erratic fuel gauge. The body is in good shape, but after 25 years not quite perfect. Never any accidents or body repairs. Small upgrades along the way included an upgraded stereo, trailer brake controller, better headlights, and camper shell. The notable negatives are few: a cracked dash from sun, I should have put the dash cover on way earlier. The camper shell leaks in heavy rain, dripping from the hold down bolts.
