Description
[2008 Nissan Titan 5.6 L V8 Crew Cab Low Miles 129k. This is a 2WD truck not 4WD I purchased this truck in May 2024 from an older gentleman. I took it to Future Nissan for a full inspection. The AC was iffy so I figured it would need a new compressor (the truck sat for 3 years). Radiators can go out on these trucks and although they said it may keep going I had them replace it, the thermostat, and fluids. The brakes had some miles still left, but I had them install new pads and rotors front and back. The serpentine belt was replaced as well. In total the Dealership charged me $5,100 for all this work. I also recently heard an odd sound coming out of the blower, so I took it into Cameron Park Automotive and had a new AC/Heater blower installed. It may have been fine, but I do not like to have issues outstanding in any vehicle that I own. I am very proactive in car/truck maintenance. I do not take shortcuts and then hope for the best. In June of 2024 I put new 50k tires on the truck. So, there should be 35,000 miles left on the tires. This is very mechanically sound truck that should go for quite a while before needing major maintenance. I change the oil every 3500 to 4,000 miles with synthetic oil. on 12/07/2025 I replaced the valve covers, seals and PCV valve to address an issue that may have become a problem down the road. I also replaced the sparkplugs since I was already in there. I kept 4 of the old plugs for the buyer to review. They looked great but i think I am getting a little better gas mileage. I will need another refill to know for sure. It is very sound mechanically. What I like the most about this truck is that it has great sound deadening and a very tight suspension / steering / handling. It feels like a new truck when driving it. It’s not a luxury car, but it is the most solid feeling truck I have ever had. There is one mechanical issue that could be addressed but it does not bother me. The blend door on ac/heater system makes a clicking noise occasionally. It does not bother me enough to fix it. There is clean body work on the driver’s side and on the passenger side it appears that the elderly gentleman before me had some issues gauging close distances. It has some dents but nothing horrible. The interior is nice. I do not think the rear seats have had much if any use and the fronts are still not showing much wear at all. Its nice inside. The paint is not perfect but the clearcoat is still there and has not worn off. I had planned on keeping this truck for a minimum of 3 years and at least 75,000 more miles, but my friend has offered to sell me an awesome truck for price that I cannot pass up. I gave some thought to keeping this truck as well, but the wife said no you already have too many toys. I don’t want to sell my motorcycles, so the truck is going. I have all the receipts for the time I have owned the truck, and you are welcome to see them for yourself. I have tried to show a fair representation of the trucks condition through the pictures.
