[This 2006 Acura TL Base is a reliable sedan that would make an excellent first car. It has a strong V6 engine, drives very well, and the transmission shifts smoothly as it should. The car has 127,332 miles and a clean title. I purchased this car new in 2006, and it has been driven by different family members over the years. Because of that, it has been well maintained with regular service, and repairs were done as needed. The timing chain was replaced about 2 years ago. The A/C blows ice-cold, and the car runs and drives great. As expected for a 19-year-old vehicle, there are some cosmetic imperfections. The front seats and dashboard have cracks, but seat covers and a dash cover would significantly improve the interior. The paint could use some TLC, but it reflects the car’s age. The car does have a small valve cover gasket oil leak. A local shop quoted $500 to repair it, and the price reflects this.
