Description
[If the listing is still up, the car is still for sale. I will remove the listing when it is sold. Up for sale is a 1994 Mazda Rx-7 with a clean title and an accident-free CarFax. This is one of 150 red, manual, PEP cars produced in 1994. The engine was built by Cam with Pettit Racing at ~64,000 miles and the vehicle currently sits at 78,212 miles. The vehicle is lightly modified with Banzai Racing carrying out the modifications under prior ownership. Banzai installed a Koyo Radiator, Pettit Cool Charge III intercooler w/ intake and a GReddy Elbow. Banzai installed an APEX’i Power FC and dyno tuned the vehicle, making 315 whp. They also installed trans and diff braces with an XS Power battery relocation kit (new battery replaced again by previous owner about one year ago). Previous owner also installed an Advance high output alternator with the new battery. The car is also equipped with Ohlins DFV coilovers, an R1 strut brace, and REAL Volk Racing TE37SL Black Edition III wheels (18x9.5), with fresh tires all around. Also installed is an HKS downpipe, Bonez high flow cat, and a Fuijtsubo full titanium catback. To monitor things on the inside is a new OLED controller for the PFC with an oil temp, an oil pressure, and a Wideband o2 gauge. Regarding more of the interior; a brand new OEM privacy cover and trunk partition wrap up a near perfect trunk with a new Garage Alpha mat. The previous owner replaced the tan carpet and swapped that for a hard-to-find OE black carpet. JDM front seats were installed to help provide a bit more headroom. New Interior Innovations leather boots w/ a new shift knob where installed too. The A/C system was completely overhauled (and not just "recharged"). The car was repainted factory victory red with a prior owner and is equipped with 99 spec tail lights, a new 99 Spec front lip and undertray. The paint has imperfections but otherwise still shines up nicely. It runs and drives nicely and it has never overheated. No cold or hot start issues as well, the only thing is that the transmission does grind slightly when cold and sometimes into 6th gear. I double clutch it when it's cold and have no issues. The previous owner did a rotary compression test with results at ~110 psi. Receipts in hand, with record of the car going back years. Great care has always been taken with this vehicle, and because of that I am asking $45,000. Thanks for looking. I still have the original wheel if you wanted to convert back.
