[Second-owner 2005 Mazda MX-5 Miata LS with automatic transmission and ~92,000 miles. We’ve owned the car since 2015 and was my wife’s daily driver in San Diego for several years, then became a weekend cruiser after we moved to North County. We recently had a baby and no longer have the time to enjoy it, so it’s time for it to go to a new home. Mechanical Condition: -Fully stock mechanically -Maintenance always performed on schedule, oil changed at least twice per year with full synthetic -New battery -Lower steering shaft recently replaced and alignment performed -A/C recharged last summer -Timing belt, water pump, and belts replaced ~2 years ago / less than 2,000 miles ago -Tires have plenty of tread remaining -Brakes are in good condition Mechanical Notes: -Minor seepage from the power steering rack (very slow, never an issue) -Tie rod ends noted by mechanic as nearing end of life and will need replacement eventually -Overall, the car is in outstanding mechanical condition with a lot of life left. Exterior & Body: -One minor accident several years ago resulting in a tear in the rear bumper cover (not repaired — see photos) -One fog light missing (I will include spare fog lights; bumper bracket broke after hitting an opossum) -A few spots with missing paint, light scratches, and small dents — mostly from wear and tight garage storage -Aftermarket Robbins black canvas soft top with soft rear window — both in excellent condition Interior: -Original tan leather interior -Minor cracking in the leather, but overall very good condition -Stock radio head unit with Grom BT3 Bluetooth receiver added via CD changer port -Doors sound-proofed with Dynamat -Door speakers upgraded to Miata-specific 8” speakers and tweeters from 3rd Millennium -Wind-screen speakers replaced with aftermarket units -Minor staining on floor mats Extras: -Includes a pair of compact folding beach chairs that fit in the trunk (surprisingly hard to find!) Super fun car that’s mechanically solid and well cared for. Cosmetic wear is present but reasonable for a 20-year-old vehicle.
