[I don't care for people who lie to me, and especially when it comes to cars, because I know better! I have been working on cars my entire life, and should not have believed the guy selling this car but I did. He convinced me, and was good at it, that it just needed a tune-up, and it did. However when I got to the part where I was putting a new valve gasket on, I saw it needed a timing chain. To do that I had to drop the transmission, and wouldn't you know it needed a new clutch! So I put all those parts on too. I finish up and start it up only to find it still runs poorly for that powerful motor. Then I did a compression test and found 0 lbs of compression on one cylinder. I got a scope and saw what I should have seen before, a bent valve. That guy really got me. I feel dumb but refuse to try and rip someone else off. I'm putting it out there that I have a VW Jetta with a bunch of good new parts on it that needs nothing more than to take off the head and throw a new valve in and you will have on hell of a nice car! The body and inside are straight and nice. I have no more blood to give to the Save The Jetta Foundation, and my Landlord will have no more cars worked on here so I am double stuck! So If you want a Jetta that has a bunch of potential, email me and let's make a deal! My mistake should help someone out there and all the parts and good work putting the car back together will not go to waist! It has new timing chain, all new clutch and parts, plugs wires and a new coil pack, on and on. I don't do things half way and the work I put into this thing are no different. So , just not as well as it could.
